The option description:

If your motherboard is equipped by additional controler IEEE 1394 (other titles of this interface — FireWire, i-Link, mLAN, Lynx), the given option allows or to involve this controler ([Enabled]) or to disconnect it ([Disabled]). To have possibility to use ports IEEE 1394 (for example, for connection of videocameras, exterior drives with this interface), an option should be included (value [Enabled] is installed).
