The option description:

Is responsible for the technology, allowing to accelerate performance of old one-continuous programs on the modern multi-core processors. Recognizing such program, the processor tries to arrange independently commands on two (and more) to kernels and if it is not possible, automatically disconnects all kernels, except one, giving remained in the full instruction all accessible volume of the cache memory of the second level. Value setting [Enabled] includes the given mode, [Disabled] — forbids its usage. Thus in some versions BIOS value setting [Disabled] besides disconnects all kernels except one.
