If the serial port functions in a mode of advanced port (Enhanced Parallel Port — EPP) or in a combined mode, it is necessary to specify, what specification will be thus used: old [EPP1.7] or newer [EPP1.9]. In most cases it is possible to stop on the last version of the specification.
