Possible values of an option:
The option description:
Defines, whether the unit of hardware presampling of instructions and the data from a random access memory will be used or not. At switching-on of this option ([Enabled]) the processor tries to predict, what instructions and the data be required to computing units in the near future and in advance loads them in the cache memory of the second level. Value setting [Disabled] deactivates the presampling mechanism that leads to frequent idle times of the processor in expectation of arrival of the necessary data and commands. For support of the maximum productivity the option should be included, the exception is made by computers with processors Pentium 4 stepping on C1, containing a hardware error in the presampling unit.
