The option description:
Specifies, whether the computer (value [Enabled]) or not (a variant [Disabled]) should clear up at arrival of a "magic" packet on a network. In most cases such necessity is not present.
Proceeding from an option title, it is a question of the integrated network adapter.
The network adapter of the computer which is in a standby mode, carries out monitoring of all data coming on a network. Receiving a "magic" packet (Magic Packet) — a packet generated in special way, — the network adapter gives a command on computer switching-on.
