Possible values of an option:
[Auto], [Enabled], [Disabled]
The option description:
The option is responsible for soft modem MC ’ 97, implemented on some motherboards with the integrated sound of class AC ’ 97. Sometimes MC ’ the 97-modem has been unsoldered on the motherboard, but is more often it represented an expansion card interposed into the special slot (AMR — Audio Modem Riser, CNR — Communication and Networking Riser or ACR — Advanced Communications Riser).
It is necessary to tell that this decision did not use special popularity, as the elementary (it is possible even to tell, primitive) circuitry did not allow MC ’ to the 97-modem well to work on ours far not the best telephone lines.
If all of you assume to use available at you MC ’ the 97-modem, install for this option value [Enabled] (or [Auto] if [Enabled] is not present in the list of variants). Otherwise the given option is necessary for disconnecting ([Disabled]).
