UART Port
Option name:
UART Port
Possible values of an option:
[Auto], [3F8/IRQ4], [2F8/IRQ3], [3E8/IRQ4], [2E8/IRQ3], [Disabled]
The option description:
The given option is actual for motherboards on which the second serial port is not deduced on the back panel and can be used for connection of the infra-red priemo-transmitter by means of a corresponding socket on the motherboard. It often meets on motherboards the integrated drawing as the place of the second COM-port on the input/conclusion panel is usually occupied by socket D-Sub for monitor connection.
By means of this option the address and interruption which the infra-red port of the computer can use are set. Standard value — [2F8/IRQ3] (corresponds to that for usual port COM2), can establish [Auto]. If the infra-red priemo-transmitter is not connected (infra-red port is not used), choose [Disabled].
Naturally, for this option the address and the interruption which distinct from is used for first serial port should be set.
